The event will be a great opportunity to see the Great Britain team take on the world’s best paddlers in their build up to the Tokyo 2020 Games and experience a value for money family day out at Lee Valley White Water Centre.
The World Cup includes four individual events – Kayak (K)1 men, K1 women, Canoe (C)1 men, and C1 women –the medal events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, alongside the C2 men’s competition.
On Sunday 16 June the World Cup will also include Extreme Slalom, an emerging discipline in the sport that involves four paddlers racing against each other in boats down the white water course.
Across the three days there will also be a range of family centred activities taking place, including paddling on the water, food and drink stalls, entertainment and an expo village.
Also included in the ticket price is access to the off-the-water inflatable park, one of the largest in Europe, situated within Lee Valley White Water Centre.
Joe Clarke MBE, Rio 2016 Olympic Champion in the K1 men’s event said:
“There isn’t a better showcase for the sport than Lee Valley and the 2019 World Cup is the perfect opportunity to come down. It is a family friendly sport and venue, and you will get to see the best athletes in the world battle it out for medals at the World Cup.”
British Canoeing has appointed See Tickets as the ticketing agency for the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup. See have recently supported the 2018 Women’s Hockey World Cup and 2019 Netball World Cup, alongside outdoor events such as Keswick Mountain Festival and Countryfile Live.
Gemma Wiggs, Event Director of the 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup said:

“The priority windows in October offer the cheapest ticket prices that will be available, so we encourage our members, fans and the local community to book early and secure your place at the World Cup.”
